I close this book with a sigh of regret that it is over. It was a short book that held enclosed in its pages much emotion. I enjoyed learning of the books that interested Helene. I fell in love with Frank and all the staff at the shop. The letters made the content so much more intimate. Frank and Helene were great friends. They shared the love of books, friendships and family in over 20 years of correspondence.
I watched the movie over 10 years ago and enjoyed it immensely. I had no idea it was a book. Completely thrilled to have finally picked up this gem to read. I HIGHLY recommend to book lovers.
