Love the history
Mariah had endured a rough life by the hands and hatred of her mother. Feeling she'd had enough, Mariah decided to strike out on her own. She went to California and struck gold, by the name of Logan.
I enjoyed the history that accompanied the story, the banter between Mariah and Logan, the lovely Alanza and the hilarious townsfolk. I'm excited to read the next book Destiny's Surrender featuring the middle son Andrew.
Romance level: steamy and passionate (tub scenes)
