Books Over TV

I love to acquire, hoard, stack, shelve, smell, read and share books. I review books. I stare at books. You get it, right?

I wanted to make note of the books I read in August. This will not be an in-depth post.

I'm pleased that I was able to read 6 books. I haven't been doing so well with my goal of 6-8 books a month. Because of this, I'm behind in my usual yearly goal of 100 books. I've had to lower it to 50.

I'm disappointed. However, I plan to go the rest of the year full steam ahead. I have truly realized that the Kindle Fire read-to-me function is my best friend. And instead of listening to music to calm me, when in pain, I will turn on that function and get through more books. Super Excited about this!

My spirits have been lifted. I hope you all had a good August. Here's to wishing us great reads in September!
